Amber Hill wins International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup gold

2 April 2011

MacWet sponsored shooter Amber Hill stunned the shooting world to win International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World cup gold at her very first attempt.

Amber was the youngest participant at the competition in Acapulco, Mexico but also broke the junior world record during qualification.

Her win at the world championship came down to a final shoot off with a 29 year old, multi-medallist from Italy. With the help of MacWet gloves and her composed nature she shot to near perfection, hitting 15 out of 16 targets.

Amber now has her sights set firmly on Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games and we can't wait to see how she gets on.
